NOVAMATRIX 3D

Novamatrix-3D is an alginate-based foam scaffold discs placed in a 24-well plate. These animal free alginate foams are engineered from sustainably grown seaweed. This foam is macro-porous in nature, allowing excellent cell seeding in a 3D environment for promoting cell growth and interaction. This foam exhibits Young’s modulus comparative to soft tissue stiffness when hydrated with culture media. The alginate-based system allows for enzyme-free cell detachment without compromising viability. Furthermore, Novamatrix-3D is sterilized and manufactured from high quality materials, providing a controlled environment for advanced research.
