Geena Malhotra is the Managing Director of Signet Excipients, succeeding Harish Shah, the company‘s founder. With over 38 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, Geena brings a wealth of expertise in research and development, innovation, and operations. Prior to her role at Signet, she served as Global Chief Technology Officer at Cipla, where she championed a patient-centric approach to R&D.
In her leadership position, Geena is focused on driving Signet‘s strategic growth initiatives, enhancing partnerships with pharmaceutical clients, and fostering innovation across the organization. She is committed to maintaining operational excellence and ensuring that Signet continues to thrive in a competitive market. Under her guidance, the company aims to build on its strong foundation and expand its influence within the pharmaceutical sector.
Dr. Sagar Mahajan
Director of Strategy and Business Development
Dr. Sagar Mahajan, Director of Strategy and Business Development at Signet Excipients, is a seasoned leader with nearly two decades of experience in the healthcare industry across South Asia and the Middle East.
A physician by training and an MBA graduate from JBIMS, Mumbai, Dr. Mahajan has held prominent leadership roles at global healthcare organizations like Medtronic, GE Healthcare, Edwards Lifesciences, and Pfizer, excelling in commercial operations, strategy, and marketing.
At Signet, Dr. Mahajan spearheads strategic growth through global partnerships, portfolio expansion, and mergers and acquisitions in pharmaceuticals and allied fields.
He is deeply committed to driving digital transformation and process innovation to solidify Signet’s position as an industry leader.
Dr. Heeshma Shah
Director - Technical Services
Dr. Heeshma Shah has pioneered as a Technical Expert in the excipient industry in India and has over 15 years of experience. She has completed her Masters in Pharmacognosy from Prin. K. M. Kundnani College of Pharmacy and her Ph. D. in Pharmaceutics from SNDT University, Mumbai in 2008. Standing by her belief of sharing knowledge than keeping it hidden, she has authored over 20 monographs in Handbook of Pharmaceutical Excipients and a chapter on Pharmaceutical Excipients in Remington: The Science and Practice of Pharmacy, numerous publications at national and international level and has been a speaker at various platforms on topics of excipient.
At Signet, Dr. Heeshma functions as Director of Technical Services and has been looked upon as a reliable resource person for offering technical support with both pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical excipients.
Mr. Wilson Dsouza
Director – Sales & Marketing
Wilson is a leader with over 32 years of extensive experience in the Pharma Excipients industry and has played an integral role in steering the company’s evolution, witnessing and contributing to its expansion over the years. His career spans multiple functions, including sales, marketing, operations, and management, allowing him to offer a well-rounded perspective on business development and organizational leadership. His comprehensive understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, coupled with his ability to align various departments toward common goals, has made him a key driver of Signet’s success.
Holding a Master’s in Business Administration, Wilson is skilled in propelling business growth in the pharma, nutraceutical, and biopharma sectors, leveraging his strategic insights and market knowledge to optimize sales and market share. Over three decades, he has developed a strong network of relationships with both customers and principals across the Indian pharma market and the broader Indian subcontinent.
Wilson is now focused on guiding Signet into its next phase of growth, leveraging his rich experience to position the company for greater market share, customer centric solutions, operational excellence, and sustainable success in the pharma sector.
