Synesqo (the new name for Specialty Co) came into existence on December 11, 2023 as a market leader in material and consumer solutions. It is composed of the former Solvay material segment, which includes their specialty polymers and composites businesses and the majority of the former Solvay solutions segment. They also carry the advantage of standing as the pioneer in the manufacture of Docusate Sodium (DSS), a versatile and highly effective anionic surfactant used across a variety of pharmaceutical applications
